President muhammadu buhari promise to

Buhari Promises To Overhaul Education Sector, Remodel 10,000 Schools Every Year

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to overhaul the education sector if he is re-elected as president in 2019.

As part of efforts to do so, he says his administration will remodel 10,000 schools every year.

The president said this on Sunday at an event tagged ‘The Next Level’, to mark the launch of his campaign ahead of the election.

He said, “Perhaps our biggest ambition yet, is the overhaul of our education sector. Every child counts and whatever it takes to prepare our teachers’ curriculum and classrooms to attain the right educational goals to grow our country, will be done.

“We will remodel 10,000 schools every year and retrain our teachers to impart Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics using coding, animation in the curriculum”.

Speaking further, the President promised to intensify the anti-graft war, to bring an end to the menace and ensure that the nation’s resources are maximaized.

“We know that to succeed, moral integrity and conscience must continue to form the dominant character of our nation and its leadership.

“Corruption is an existential threat to Nigeria, despite the gains we have made in closing the gates, we know that there is still much ground to cover to stop systematic corruption. We are committed to deepening the work we started this past term, such that the nation’s assets and resources continue to be organized and utilized to do good,” he said.

On the achievements of the past four years, the President stated that although his administration witnessed some challenges, it worked hard to fulfil its promises.

He said, “Four years ago, we promised Nigerians real change in what we do and how we do it. Nigerians sent a clear message in the last election and our platform offered a new ambitious plan for a secure, prosperous and corruption-free country.

“We have worked hard to fulfil our promises and while the road may have been difficult over the last three and a half years, we have laid a foundation for a strong, stable and prosperous country for the majority of our people.

“Foundational work is not often visible, neither is it glamorous but it is vital to achieving the kind of country we desire.

“Judging by the depths of decay, deterioration and despair that Nigeria has sank into, we are certain that these past few years have put us in good stead to press on the next level of building an even stronger nation for our people.”

The President also highlighted his administration’s achievements in the areas of security, as well as economic development.

He said, “We liberated 17 local government areas from the grip of insurgency, brokering and sustaining peace in the Niger Delta, has also been crucial to stabilizing the polity, despite the difficult circumstances presented by weak oil prices and reduced oil production, we delivered on our promises to make public investments to spur economic growth, job creation and prosperity.

“Agriculture continues to expand our economic base, as do our investments in deficient infrastructure across the length and breadth of this nation.

“We implemented a responsible and transparent fiscal plan for the challenging economic times that saw us doing more even with lesser oil revenues”.

President Buhari, therefore, promised that if he is re-elected, his administration will intensify the efforts it has started in its key campaign areas.

“The next four years will be quite significant for our country. Nigeria is faced with a choice to keep on building a new Nigeria or to go back to its stunted past which favoured only and opportunistic few.

“Our choices will surely shape us, define clearly our economic security and our future prosperity.

“Nigeria, more than ever before, needs a stable and people-focused government to move the development of our country forward. Join us on this journey to a prosperous, strong and stable Nigeria.

“The achievements and projections I have enumerated above are just a summary of what we have done and what we intend to do in our next term if Nigerians graciously give us a second term mandate,” he said.

Furthermore, he urged all candidates and their supporters to carry out their campaign activities in a peaceful manner.
Thanks.

Best way to trace your stolen phone

BEST WAY TO TRACE YOUR  STOLEN PHONE WITHOUT GOING TO POLICE STATION

If you lose your mobile phone, you can trace it without going to the police.

Most of us always fear that our phones may be stolen at any time.

Each phone carries a unique
IMEI no. i.e. International Mobile Equipment Identity No which can be used to track it anywhere in the world.

This is how it works:

1. Dial *#06# from your mobile.

2. Your mobile phone shows a unique 15 digit.

3. Note down this number at a secure place except in your mobile phone itself as this is the number which will help trace your phone in case of theft.

4. Once stolen, just E-mail this 15 digit IMEI No. to cop@vsnl.net with details as stated below:

Your name:____________________

President muhammadu buhari on Wednesday

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday approved N30,000 as the new national minimum wage.

He gave the endorsement while receiving the report of the Tripartite Committee on the Review of National Minimum Wage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Buhari thanked the committee and restated his government resolve for better welfare for Nigerian workers.

His full speech below after receiving the report below:

“On 27th November 2017, I inaugurated the National Minimum Wage Committee with a mandate to recommend a new minimum wage for the workers of our country.

“This exercise became necessary for many reasons. The last review took place in 2011. We all know since then, the prices of key consumables have increased and the most vulnerable of our workers are struggling to make ends meet.

“Since 2011, many changes have taken place. Nigeria rebased its GDP to become the largest economy in Africa. We reported very strong GDP growth rates and exceptional performance of our capital markets. However, these reported successes did not flow into the pockets and homes of majority of Nigerians.

“In the last three years, we focused on correcting this deficiency. We are working to create a diversified and inclusive economy.

“We are pushing to clear pension arrears owed to our retired workers with the limited resources available to us.

“We supported State Governments to pay workers salary. And of course, we set up a committee in order to review the minimum wage of workers.

“In constituting this committee, we took into account the need for all stakeholders to be adequately represented – the government, the private sector and most importantly the workers. Our goal was to get an outcome that was consensual.

“From the onset, we knew the committee had a difficult task ahead of it. But at the same time, we were also confident that the patriotic and professional background of its members would produce realistic, fair and implementable recommendations that will be considered by both the executive and legislative arms of government.

“I am not surprised that the committee has worked for close to one year. I am also not surprised that on a few occasions, the debates got heated and sometimes, these differences came out.

“What is truly inspiring is that, in almost all instances of disagreements, the committee members always came back to the negotiating table with a common goal of improving the welfare of Nigerian workers. On behalf of all Nigerians today, I want to thank you for your commitment and sacrifice in getting us to where we are today.

“In the past few days, I have been receiving regular updates on your deliberations. And today, I am pleased that you have completed your work in a peaceful and non-confrontational manner. The entire nation is grateful to you all.

“The Committee Chairman highlighted some of the challenges encountered during your deliberations, especially as it relates to having a consensus position acceptable by all parties.

“I understand, on the government side, the concerns raised were around affordability – that today many states struggle to meet their existing salary requirements.

“On the side of labour, the points raised focused on the need for any increase to be meaningful.

“In a way, both arguments are valid. I want to assure you all that we will immediately put in place the necessary machinery that will close out these open areas. Our plan is to transmit the Executive Bill to the National Assembly for passage within the shortest possible time.

“I am fully committed to having a new National Minimum Wage Act in the very near future.

“Let me use this opportunity to recognise the leadership of the organized labour and private sector as well as representatives of State and Federal Governments for all your hard work. The fact that we are here today, is a notable achievement.

“As the Executive Arm commences its review of your submission, we will continue to engage you all in closing any open areas presented in this report. I therefore would like to ask for your patience and understanding in the coming weeks.

“May I therefore, employ workers and their leaders not to allow themselves to be used as political weapons.

“Thank you and may God bless our country.”

Gov.abdullahi UMAR ganduje governor of kano State

Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State.

The Kano state governor Abdullahi Ganduje Thursday reacted to a report by an online media platform alleging that he was involved in graft.

The news paltform, New Nigerian, based in Abuja, reported that Ganduje received up to $5 million in a series of questionable deals with state contractors.

The platform said it is in possession of three footages that showed how the governor was receiving bribes from state contractors. One of the videos showed a person, which it claimed to be the governor, roll nearly $3 million under his cloth.

But Ganduje denied being the person in the video.

“We wish to state that there is no iota of truth to these allegations and if indeed there is any such alleged video, it is at best cloned,” the Kano state commissioner for information, Malam Muhammad Garba said in a statement.

“The government of Kano state is taking this matter seriously, and will exploit every appropriate and legal avenue to ensure that it gets to the root of the matter and the perpetrators are brought to book”.

Meanwhile, the news platform held in their report that its graphics expert, who was also invited to a secret meeting to ascertain whether the videos were genuine, confirmed that they were not doctored.

According to New Nigerian, a representative from a reputable international anti-corruption agency, who was also furnished with the clips for authentication, confirmed that it was genuine.

“Going by the analysis we made on conversation and the graphics, we concluded that the voice matched the subject matter’s voice and the images are unmistakably his,” the agency’s representative said.

Garba, however, insisted that his principal is a victim of blackmail from the opposition parties in order to deface the Kano State APC-led government. The state is a stronghold of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Evidently, Kano being the stronghold of the APC and expected to produce the highest votes in the
upcoming general elections is a target of campaign of calumny.”

Ganduje, who is running for a second term on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), was also backed by a coalition of civil society organisations who also dismissed the report.

Spokespersons of the coalition, Isa Mahmud of PAIR and Okoronkwo Chuks, said the report was an act of desperation intent on causing confusion in the APC by wild allegations.

The coalition stressed that after rigorous investigations, the coalition established that the report was the handiwork of Rabiu Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiyya Movement aimed at stoking crisis in the North West.

“It is a matter of fact that the publisher of the Daily Nigerian, Jafar Jafar, is a former aide to Senator Kwankwaso as governor and still works for him.

“Having failed woefully at his futile attempt to be president, he is back to spinning cheap tales and aiming to foment trouble in the North West.

“For the avoidance of doubt, the infantile effort, like all others in the past, will amount to absolutely nothing.”

Policies of jamb admission

JAMB Admission Policies: A Must-Read For Candidates

New policies have been adopted by JAMB that will guide the admission processes. Those policies are listed in this article.

The Minister of Education, The JAMB Registrar, The Vice Chancellor of all Universities, The Rector of all Polytechnics, and the Provost of all Colleges of Education in Nigeria have reached conclusions on how admission processes will go.

These policies are listed below:

ADMISSION POLICIES ADOPTED BY JAMB
Candidates should Beware of Change of Institution. Prof Oloyede warns.
We are introducing a process to ensure that there is no delay in admission of students – Jamb
No University is permitted to hold on to a candidate for a long period. Once a candidate cannot be admitted into certain University, such should be released to other Universities.
All Universities are henceforth expected to obey and comply with the timeline of  the admission with the new system
With the new system, it would be no longer possible for candidates to upload a fake O level result as done before now.
Candidates should be careful of information submitted while registering. Even your date of birth can cost you a lot when you are to be mobilized for NYSC – Prof Oloyede
All Universities have their Quota by Jamb already. We might not be able to release some information now. Meanwhile, Universities can request for more Quota
All Universities still have the flexibility to create their cut off marks.
Jamb will no longer release any further results. Meanwhile, more stiffer measures are being taken to avoid fraudsters during Jamb. – Prof Oloyede
Jamb will keep suggesting qualified candidates to Universities.
All Universities will download the list of students who chose them. Meanwhile, there is a risk in this.
With the new system that will be implemented, a candidate can now use a USSD code to confirm or reject his/her admission. You can also confirm your admission status as a candidate
The window is closed for a candidate for that year once he accepts an admission, . These are the benefits of the new system – Jamb
With the information here, Post Utme Screening results is part of the admission processing.
Carrying capacity, cut off marks, download of candidates will be concluded by Universities.
Before now, a candidate applies for Medicine and because the University needs more students in Agric, such student is moved to the department. The damaged is caused because such student won’t get to know until a later date. With the new system, that is now history.
There will be no automatic admission for those without the necessary requirement. And for those that met with the requirement but were denied admission, Jamb will contact the said institution to know why they are not admitted yet.
Jamb cannot decide cut off marks for Universities – Prof Oloyede
The system will  be very easy to use for all – Jamb
Once again, Jamb will not impose anything on any higher institution.
The new system is a secured one. So all stake holders present should be relaxed.
All available national/west africa certificates are available for admission. Nothing like ICTS result-Prof Oloyede
The world of CAPS – Central Admission Processing System (JAMB), is here.
Admissions to Universities will now be timely.
If you have not uploaded your O level before now, please do. But if you have before now, no problem – Jamb
Will Post-UTME be conducted?, the Minister said we will allow Post Utme for those who wants to do it. He did not impose it- Prof Oloyede
ASUU activities should not affect admission processing. Else, no admission for that University for that year – Prof Oloyede
No student will henceforth be admitted with Awaiting Result – Prof Oloyede
Students are free to transfer from one University to the other. This Law has been in existence for 29 years now. No University has the right to disqualify any student once he or she is qualified – Jamb

Jamb will not wait for Neco but will be flexible. Once result is out, they can send them.
To those who had done regularization some years back are advised to do the ongoing one. What they have done is not the right one. Prof Oloyede
Once you are given an admission into a University, it is only the school that can release such student/s to another University. These students cannot be transferred unless the University signs the necessary document once accepted. – Prof Oloyede
An HND student of the same field can cross to 300 level of a University once he or she is qualified.

SENATOR RABI'U MUSA KWANKWASO

Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has threatened to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) if the leadership of the party in Abuja removed any member of the Kwankwasiyya movement from the list of its aspirants.

Recall that Kwankwaso had held primaries for various elective offices in Kano which were allegedly won by his chosen aspirants, leaving aside other PDP members.

A source within the party confided to Daily Trust yesterday that the former governor sounded the warning of leaving the party during a meeting held at Legacy House, Abuja.

The meeting, which commenced at 3pm and ended around 5pm, was attended by many PDP stakeholders including Bello Hayatu Gwarzo and Ambassador Aminu Wali among others.

According to the source, the meeting was organised to review the list of aspirants from Kano State.

The Senator Mas’ud El-Jibril Doguwa-led faction of the PDP had also conducted its primaries where candidates emerged for various offices.

It was gathered that in order to have a unified house, the Prince Uche Secondus-led National Working Committee (NWC) brought together all the contending factions with a view to having a win-win situation.

The source said, “Kwankwaso told the gathering that any move to remove any member of Kwankwasiyya from the aspirants list will lead to his defection from PDP.

“However, the Doguwa-led faction also threatened to dump the party if the leadership failed to review the list of aspirants.

The meeting ended in a deadlock…Neither Kwankwaso nor Doguwa faction agreed to accept the terms offered by the leadership of the party,” the source said.

According to him, the leadership of the party in its effort to reconcile the aggrieved members, resolved that the national and state assemblies slots be shared 50-50 between the Kwankwaso and Doguwa factions of the party.

He added that when the meeting reached its peak with no sign of success, the party’s presidential flag bearer and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, sent a former minister of Aviation, Mr Osita Benjamin Chidoka, to intervene on his behalf.

He, however, said the former minister also failed to reconcile the contending factions and the meeting ended without yielding any positive result.

Asked to comment on development, the Public Relations Officer of  Doguwa faction of the PDP, Alhaji Musa Danbirni, said he was not aware of the said meeting.  “I am not among the people that went to Abuja because I fell sick and I am still at home. So I don’t know what exactly transpired in Abuja.”

The spokesman of Kwankwaso faction of the party, Jamilu Dambatta could not be reached for comment  at the time of filing this report. On her part, Kwankwaso’s spokesperson, Hajiya Binta Spikin said she was not in Abuja. “It will be wrong for me to talk about party matters; the people that should talk on this are party officials,” she said.

Contacted, a strong pillar of theKwankwasiyya movement,  Aminu Abdulsalam,  said he was not aware of the meeting.

Abdulsalam said, “The party’s chairmen, secretaries and other stakeholders were taken to Abuja by a different group with the sole aim of conducting a fresh primary election but to be honest with, the National Vice Chairman (North) told them that he has no mandate to do so.

“He told them it is beyond his powers to hold a meeting with them and he asked them to go back to Kano and await further instruction from the party’s national leadership. That is all I know about this issue,” he said.

Prof.tam David west had to say about President buhari!

Hear what Prof. Tam David West had to say about Gen. Buhari!

¤ Buhari is one of the cleanest men I have ever met in my life. If anybody wants me to dislike Buhari, such person should give me an example of his corruption. I will run away from him totally. But right now, there is no evidence. On the contrary, the more they attack him on this issue of corruption, the more they are making him Gold bier.

¤ I will give two examples.

¤ One, Babangida thought Buhari was making a lot of money on counter trading, so he set up two independent bodies to investigate counter trading.

¤ One of the bodies was headed by J.K. Randle, while the second was headed by Prof. Aboyade of blessed memory. None of them found anything against Buhari. None. I attested before the two bodies.

¤ Great Aboyade commission was digging into Buhari’s counter trading, J.K. Randle, who’s still alive, did the same thing.

¤ But both of them produced reports that showed that counter trading was so clean and was making so much money for Nigeria.

¤ Then two, soon after Obasanjo was sworn in, there was a social function for him in Lagos or so, then surprisingly, some people tried to praise Buhari, Obasanjo said: ‘don’t praise him, I have not probed him.’ It was after that incident that Obasanjo set up Dr. Haroun’s probe panel of the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF).

¤ Haroun probed PTF inside out. Buhari was discovered to be as clean as snow.

¤ You know, why he agreed to be the head of PTF was not to condone what Abacha was doing then, but he saw it as a way of serving the country and he did well. I have the record.

¤ Haroun came out and said PTF account was audited every year while Federal Government account was not audited in 36 years.

¤ You know Babangida detained Buhari for 40 months after he overthrew him.

¤ Buhari’s mother died while he was in detention and as a Muslim, I expected Babangida to rise above politics and allow Buhari to go bury his mother. If he was released, I am sure he wouldn’t have run away.

¤ Buhari was not allowed to go bury his mother. But in the night after the woman was buried, Babangida released Buhari.

¤ His son died, the same thing happened.

¤ Anyway, after Buhari came out of detention, he told Babangida to tell the world about his corruption. The records are there.

¤ The same thing happened with the PTF. He told Obasanjo to publish the report of the panel, but Obasanjo could not publish it because it was a certificate of honour for Buhari. If that Haroun’s report had any page in it that indicted Buhari, Obasanjo would have used that to disqualify Buhari from contesting against him.

¤ Buhari is clean. He is not corrupt.

¤ To show how Buhari loves Nigeria, he doesn’t like spending Nigerian money frivolously. When he overthrew Shehu Shagari, Buhari never changed any chair or curtain in Dodan Barracks. Buhari used what Shagari was using until he left.

¤ As minister, our total pocket money under Buhari was N200 per month. You could spend less than N200 without accounting for it, but anything above N200, you must account for it.

¤ When he increased the money to N250, we clapped for him at the executive council.

¤ Now, as a former governor of the defunct north-eastern state, former minister of petroleum, former head of state, former executive chairman of PTF, Buhari has no house in Abuja.

¤ If he goes to Abuja, he stays in a private hotel. He has no house either uphill or downhill, apart from his house in Kaduna......... .....

Nigerians We Need BUHARI by 2019.

Former president olusegun obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is certainly not a fan of Atiku Abubakar, his former vice-president, who is now the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party. His various testimonials about his former deputy are trending online.

The 72 year-old former customs officer, emerged on Sunday as the opposition's standard bearer for the 2019 election, to face incumbent Muhammadu Buhari.

Nigeria's Twitterati have been dredging out Atiku's testimonial as given by Obasanjo, who said in a BBC TV interview why he will never support Atiku for Nigeria's highest office. He even stated the reason in his book, about his eight-year presidency. Watch the video:

"God will never forgive me "

Here is Obasanjo's testimonial in the book, My Watch:

"From the day I nominated Atiku to be my vice, he set his mind not for any good, benefit or service of the country, but on furiously planning to upstage, supplant or remove me at all cost and to take my place.

"That was what I brought him for, but he was impatient and over-ambitious. He was not ready to learn and to wait. His marabout, who predicted that despite being elected as governor, he would not be sworn in as a governor, which happened, also assured him that he would take over from me in a matter of months rather than years.

"All his plans, appointments of people and his actions were towards the actualisation of his marabout's prediction. Once I realised his intention and programme, I watched him like a hawk without giving any indication of what I knew and letting down my guard. I could not succumb to the distraction, diversion and malevolence of an ambitious but unwise deputy.

"The work in hand was more important than a confrontational relationship with my deputy, a man over whom I knew I had far more experience and outreach in all matters. To alert him of what I knew he was up to, would only lead to lying, denial, more mischievous plans and more duplicity on his part.

"He was better managed that way. What was important was not allowing myself to be surprised or outmanoeuvred by him. I must always seize the initiative and know what was going on if not in his mind, but at least in his camp. That I did very effectively.

"Sometime in the fourth quarter of 2004, an associate of Atiku came to my residence at the Aso Villa from Atiku's official residence. He felt uncomfortable and I tried to make him feel at ease. Then, he settled to tell me the story of what had just transpired in Atiku's residence. I listened with rapt attention.

"He went on to say that Atiku told him that for him to become the President of Nigeria, the 2007 elections were only a formality.

"The seven ingredients he needed for his enthronement were already in his hands. He controlled the National Assembly because both the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives were in his pocket. He controlled twenty-eight out of thirty-six governors. He had control of the media. His influence over the judiciary was overwhelming.

"What he needed was foreign endorsement and for that he had employed two lobby groups in the US and one in the UK. And finally, the money for the elections was in his purse.

"When the man finished, I thanked him without passing any comment. The man was surprised at my reaction and asked, 'You have nothing to say to these?' I said that I had nothing to say and I immediately called my ADC, Chris Jemitola, to play a game of squash with me.

"On our way to the squash court with my ADC, I said, 'People at times make plans and leave God out of their plans.' My casual remark struck Chris and he said, 'Sir, that was a profound statement.' I said that I made the statement because of what I had just heard of Atiku's plan. I was not convinced he had put God in his plans.

"Atiku was confident and God was laughing. Most of Atiku's ingredients soon started to fall out of place one by one. The first was the party, PDP.

"He thought I was powerless and had no clue about the execution of his plan with his group; part of his attack on me was for national chairman of the party to give the first salvo, then other things would follow as his grip on the party would be firm and consolidated.

"That salvo came in the form of a letter to me from the chairman of the party, Audu Ogbeh, who had fully defected with (Iyorchia) Ayu to Atiku.

"The letter, which was not the product of any issue or matter discussed with or at any party meeting, came suddenly. When I received it, I could read the sinister intention behind it.

"I spent that night writing my reply and I sent it in the morning. My reply was clear. I wondered why Atiku and his group did not realise that with my reply, the battle line was clear or maybe they thought that the seven ingredients would remain intact to the end.

"My assistants had moles within the Atiku group. Anything that they planned would be reported. That was the case after Ogbeh's letter. They decided that Ogbeh should appear remorseful and come with the National Working Committee to apologise to me. It was not from their hearts, but to lure me to a 'killing ground'.

"All pieces of information that were reported were verified because it would not come from only one informant.

"Timely information is a very important principle of war and also of politics. In politics, just as in war, what matters is not just your plan, but knowledge of your opponent's plan. Knowing their plan, I had the choice of playing along with them or being firm, I chose the latter.

"I told Ogbeh that my relationship with him as national chairman and me as national leader of the party was based on mutual confidence and trust. But with his letter, my reply and what I knew of him then, I could no longer work with him in confidence and trust.

"There were only two choices left for both of us in our best interest and that of the party - he, leaves as chairman or I leave as leader of the party.

"The following Sunday, I called at his house, which I had done on several occasions in the past when there was an important party matter to discuss. This time, I asked him to give me an undated letter of resignation as the national chairman.

"I waited, he gave me but it was wrongly addressed to me rather than to the national secretary of the party as stipulated in the party's constitution.

"Ogbeh reported to his group and it was decided by them to play on and to wait for my disgrace whenever I presented a letter of resignation not addressed to the national secretary.

"The informants did their job and I, once again, paid another visit to Ogbeh at his residence. He entertained me to a meal and drink, and changed the addressee on his letter of resignation."

The Testimonial given in August 2018 in an interview with PremiumTimes:

"How can I be on the same side with Atiku?" Mr Obasanjo asked. "To do what?"

"If I support Atiku for anything, God will not forgive me. If I do not know, yes. But once I know, Atiku can never enjoy my support," he added.

"I do not have personal grudges with anyone," Mr Obasanjo said. "If you do not do well for Nigeria, you do not do well for all of us."

"It is not a question of working with or not working with an individual," he said. "If you are working for the good of Nigeria, I am working with you. If you are not working for the good of Nigeria it does not matter who you are I am not working with you."

"Most of you do not understand the way I operate," Mr Obasanjo said. "And I thought your own paper will understand better."

"I know Atiku very well. And I have mentioned my position with Atiku. My position has not changed," he said.

"If my children are getting married, he has sent representatives. If his children are getting married, I have sent representatives. That is social. That is not political".

6TH OCTOBER, 2018

I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Chairman and members of the Convention Committee for planning and conducting this convention. The same appreciation goes to the chairmen of National and State Executive Committees of our party. Thank you very much for doing a difficult job well.

2. I would like to pay tribute to Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande the first chairman of our great Party and to Chief John Oyegun who led the party until this year and all the APC Governors.

3. The result of the presidential primaries of the All Progressives Congress this time is different because I am the only candidate. I thank all other eligible candidates who deferred to me in the interest of our party unity and over-all national stability.

4. Fellow party members, it is with a deep sense of humility that I stand before you today to accept the nomination of our party, the All Progressives Congress to be its candidate and flag-bearer in the 2019 presidential elections.

5. As I stand today before you, there is no honour greater than the confidence given to me by all of you when you affirmed my nomination. I thank you for your support. I thank you for your guidance. I thank you for staying committed to the CHANGE agenda.

6. I accept this honour as a tribute and mark of confidence to carry the responsibility as we all join hands to continue the good work of the APC government to 2023 and beyond.

7. We are very proud of our record from 2015 to date:

a. We have arrested and checked the slide to anarchy on the security and economic fronts.

b. Boko Haram is reduced to dastardly attacks on soft targets. Normalcy has returned to much of North East and neighbouring North West states.

c. Our currency has stabilised. Our reserves are now $44 billion, a lot higher than we had in 2015.

d. Power generation capacity has reached 8,000 megawatts against less than 4,600 when we came into office. As we invest in new power generation infrastructure we are strenuously working to address the legacy deficiencies and challenges of transmission and distribution networks across the country.

e. We are executing Independent Power Projects in 9 Federal Universities to deliver uninterrupted power supply and we intend to expand to a total of 37 Universities

f. We have revived most of our capacity to produce fertilisers locally.

g. The Government through its Anchor Borrowers Programme and other incentives has empowered more than 2 million farmers to go back to the land.  We now produce 80% of our rice requirements. Many farmers who nearly lost hope are now millionaires.

h. We have introduced primary school feeding programmes to encourage attendance and enrolment. We also have introduced the conditional cash transfer to help small and medium businesses, the men, the women and young people who drive our economy.

i. We have repaired and are repairing major arterial roads and starting major railway projects with the aim of linking the 36 states with efficient road and rail transportation systems.

j. We are attacking corruption head-on. With international support we are recovering Nigerian stolen assets and applying them to infrastructural developments.

k. Today the corrupt are facing the wrath of law and leakages have been generally blocked.

Mr. Chairman, Your Excellencies, Members of the APC.

8. We can be proud of our achievements. CHANGE has come. Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow Nigerians, think how much PDP Governments earned between 1999 to 2015. Think what they did with it.
a. Infrastructure down!

b. Security down! 18 local governments of Nigeria under control of a hostile army of insurgents,

c. Reserves depleted!

d. Bankruptcy around the corner.

9.What did they do with your money?

Always say "Masjid"
Because Islamic Organization has found that Mosque means, Mosquitoes.

 Don't write "Mecca"
 write always correctly
 "Makkah" Because
 Mecca means House of
 Wines.

 Don't write "Mohd"
 write always completely
 "Muhammad" Because

Plz don't keep it in your inbox, share the knowledge.
Please read this to  the end.

You hardly have timej for Allah; but He loves you and always blesses you. He is always with you. I need you to spend 30mns of your time with him today. Don't pray, just praise Him.

Today I want this message across the world before midnight. Will you help? Please do not I cut the chain.
He always grants you all the things that you are in need of. So please drop everything and pass this on. Don't break this chain. Send this to other friends.

Why Do we feel sleepy in Prayer? But stay awake throughout a 3 hours movie.
Why are we so bored when we look at the HOLY BOOK? But find it easy to read other books.
Why is it so easy to ignore a message about Allah? Yet we forward the nasty/funny ones.
Why are Masjids getting smaller? But Bars and Night Clubs are expanding.
Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity? But very difficult to engage with Allah.

Think about it, are you going to forward this? Or are you going to ignore it because you think you will get laughed at?

Forward this to all your friends/contacts.
I know 80% of you may not forward this; so be among the 20% who might.

Remember; Allah (SWT) said: If you deny Me in front of your friends, I will deny you on the day of judgment:

*Just not to break the chain*

SHOCKING STORY

 Shocking story

Must read

A certain rich businessman had a beautiful daughter, who fell in love
with a guy who was a cleaner. When the girl's father came to know
about their love, he did not like it at all, and so began to protest about it.

Now it happened that the two lovers decided to leave their homes for a
happy future.

The girl's father started searching for the two lovers but could not
find them.

At last, he accepted their love and asked them to come back home in a
local newspaper. Her father said "If you both come back I will allow
you to marry the guy you love, I accept that you loved each other
truly."

So in this way, their love won and they returned home.  The couple went to town to shop for the wedding dress. He was dressed in white shirt that day. While he was crossing the road to the other side to get some drinks for his wife, a car came and hit him and he died on the spot.

The girl lost her senses. It was only after sometime that she recovered from her shock. The funeral and cremation was the very next day because he had died horribly.

Two nights later, the girl's mother had a dream in which she saw an old lady. The old lady asked her mother to wash the blood stains of the guy from her daughter's dress as soon as possible. But her mother ignored the dream.

The next night her father had the same dream, he also ignored it.  Then when the girl had the same dream the next night, she woke up in fear and told her mother about the dream. Her mother asked her to wash the clothes which have blood stains immediately.

She washed the stains but some remained. Next night she again had the
same dream she again washed the stains but some still remained.

Next night she again had the same dream and this time the old lady gave her a last warning to wash the blood stain, or else something will happen. This time the girl tried her best to wash the stains, and the clothes nearly tore, but some stains still remained.

She was very tired.

In the late evening the same day while she was alone at home, someone
knocked at the door.  When she opened the door she saw the same old lady
of her dream standing at her door. She got very scared and fainted.

The old lady woke her up... and gave her a blue box, which shocked the
girl. She asked "What is this...?" The old lady replied...

"Ariel Washing powder.
it will remove all stubborn stains!!!"..

Please do not even start swearing at me ...

I am also mad and I have a loaded gun and I am still hunting for the idiot who mailed this to me!

Since I cannot be the last Mugu standing, I just had 2 pass it on.

Wow! I enjoyed this ..
